My name is Stephen Thomas and I am privileged to be the Headteacher of Milford Haven Community Primary School. 

At Milford Haven Community Primary School, we strongly believe that 'Every child matters and every moment counts'. We have embarked on a journey since November 2022, where we have created and developed a new and exciting curriculum for each and every learner, as well as refined and improved our approach to teaching and learning.

Part of this work, has included working with all of our stakeholders to re-establish our purpose and vision for the school moving forward. At Milford Haven Community Primary School our values run through everything we do. We believe in modelling, educating and instilling the values of Respect, Positivity, Honesty, Fairness, Perseverance and Kindness. 

My belief as an educator first and foremost, is that it's crucial we as adults support every pupil we work with to ensure that their mental, emotional and social wellbeing is nurtured and as strong as it can possibly be. It is only when our children feel safe and secure mentally and emotionally that they will be ready to learn and maximise the progress they can make in their learning. This is foundation of what we are building our school on. 

I am very fortunate to have a dedicated team, who share this belief and vision with me and we welcome any pupil and their family to join us and be a part of our exciting school.
